The BPW is an active association and grassroots organization and often works in (local) working groups. As an association, there should also be a board. That board consists of 7 board members elected by the General Meeting of Members. The association is therefore looking for 1 new treasurer. The board meets 5 times a year and is responsible for the growth and continuity of the association. (including policy, planning (action plan), budget and annual accounts).
Board member treasurer
The position that has become vacant is that of board member treasurer. For this position it is desirable that you have some experience and interest in the financial side and fundraising of an association and that you have an affinity with keeping the administration or that you are interested in learning more about this.
You can apply before September 1 by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a short motivation of what you involve in the BPW and why you want to serve as a board member and treasurer. Your nomination will then be presented at the General Meeting of Members on September 9, 2023 (by means of the agenda). Ultimately, the ALV decides on your candidacy.
