On Monday 15 April 20:00 there will be a help meeting takes place in Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. Together we will look at how we can help 62 undocumented refugees in Amsterdam to claim their right to shelter.

On April 1, this group of vulnerable people was excluded from humanitarian facilities and shelter. The municipality does not want to provide emergency shelter. The aid meeting is organized by Amsterdam City Rights and Pakhuis de Zwijger. We call on members of the BPW to also attend to support this group of people who are in an extremely precarious situation.

This initiative is in line with the solidarity network that we as BPW have set up in Amsterdam, called Home base. When you find yourself on the street, it is not an individual problem, but a social problem. Together we can claim our right of residence and bring about social change! A form has also been placed on the Pakhuis de Zwijger website where you can indicate what you have to offer for this group.
